Sapp restaurant los angeles
Pink Pepper. Thanks, Anthony Bourdain! Now this is what I call authentic Thai food! I decided to try Sapp out because I am dedicated reader of food blogs. I always want to try places that is ""off the beaten path.
Boy let me tell you, this is Thai food I have never tried before. I always thought some of the places that I have eaten around LA were authentic, but I believe Sapp is truly authentic. I ordered the Thai Boat noodles which were very hearty and filling. Very good, but it is definitely for the adventurous eater because their broth is made of bits of porkblood. We also tried the papaya salad and whoa, they are not shy on the fish sauce!
I guess that's how Thai people really eat it. I consider myself an open person about food, but I think my American tongue just couldn't handle the fishy-ness. It's a little run down hole in the wall place in a dingy strip mall, but worth a try if you are digging the fish sauce. Advertise with Us. Saved to Favorites. Som Tom 6. Nam Tok 6. Tub Varn 6.
