Sol found his true calling as a studio player while still a teenager through his admiration of friend and mentor; A-list session master Brent Mason, who began recommending Sol for work after some invaluable guidance. He continues to work on demos and masters as a first-call guitarist for numerous producers around town. Upon coming to town and working in such a rich environment, Sol also quickly learned valuable engineering skills from some of the best in town; and began producing records out of his own personal studio.

He also regularly produces songwriter demos for several writers and publishing companies around town, building tracks for vast catalogs of songs at his home studio at whatever rate his schedule permits. Their masterpiece, Let It Be, secured their position as one of the most acclaimed and influential bands of the s, even though their record sales never matched their critical success.

And although their music changed and softened in its sonic bite over the twelve years they were together, they never lost their bratty punk attitude. The band seemed to be in a race with themselves to become the biggest thing in rock, or self-destruct completely. And their fans, like Jonathan Bright, loved them.
