First reservation was to be a pull through which it was not but I could live with it would be nice if the person drawing the directions to the site did not bring me up facing the site which meant I had to turn around my 45 motor home. Second reservation I knew not to follow the directions on the map but when I got to my site it was occupied, hard to contact the office after about 45 minutes was given a new site and I parked there to discover it was 30 amps so they moved me to a site that was very unlevel but it had been a long day drive parked two time I just wanted to sit still.

I imagine the incorrect directions were due to inexperienced staff and we are working to do more thorough training in that area. Without more specifics, I can't address the situation in which your assigned site was occupied, but we can understand your frustration. We do hope, though, that you'll give us another chance to provide you with a pleasant stay with us!

Our site was fine, but some have some trees that may be an issue. Very level gravel site. No internet! Our first site they assigned was too steep front to back to use.

We moved over one space and managed to get setup despite how narrow and tree challenged it is. We had to unhook our tow car to use the site and move it to the exit end to fit in our motothome.

A large cedar tree prevented us from opening the drivers side slide until we backed way up. See the photos. Our leveling system bottomed out without reaching level - see photo. My recommendation to the staff is to limit sites 1, 2 and 3 to much shorter RVs. The office person was very helpful getting us moved over one site from 2 to 3. Staff was extremely accomodating. We were orginally scheduled to be here only 2 weeks and ended up staying 4.

There are lots of things to do in the area. There are several places around the property for photos , there is a Event Center next door that's great for photos. Everyone here is friendly. Very unlevel , No TV either over the air or cable. Pretty basic campground. Several RVs not lived in - mostly storage!

Hope you've had happy trails since visiting our park! I'm not sure where you were parked, but our 19 easy pull-thrus are quite level. Maybe those were full? We do have a couple of areas where more leveling is necessary.

While we do not have cable tv, there should have been multiple stations that can be picked up with an antenna. Yes, we do have a storage area where many local people safely park their rv if they have no space at home. I hope you'll visit again and let us make your experience more enjoyable. We have walking trails, a catch and release pond, and a swimming pool, and there are many, many sights to see, museums, outdoor adventures, and shopping opportunities in our area, and we have lots of very good local restaurants in Columbus.

We do have a number of extended stay guests; but we have strict rules for them about keeping their campsites tidy and their rigs clean. We also must approve any extended stay RV that's more than 10 years old, to be sure they're in good condition.

The lady to whom you referred is our aunt, who has some learning disabilities. We have a special trash can, labeled 'aluminum cans only', at the dumpster, and she gathers the cans from there and takes them to the recycling place to earn a little money. Be careful when parking your rig since the patio is 6 - 8 inches higher than the site which could be a problem with your power steps. The biggest drawback to this camp ground is the fairly constant gunfire from the Fort Benning gun ranges that back up the the CG.
