Sushi nashville fujiyama
As other people mentioned, don't let the locaton scare you. This place is by far Nashville's best kept secret! OK people like other reviwers have said don't let the loaction scare you or you will miss out on one very good sushi place. That being said yes it is a little pricey but I for one am tried of paying less money for mediocre sushi. Where one day its good and you go back the next week and it's not good at all. This place does not disappoint. It is fresh and ohh so good and the service was execellent.
I was hungry so I had a little bit of everything. The avacodo rolls where perfect, the tempura sweet potatoes maybe a little greasy but still excellent and I had the miso soup and Ginger chicken. Ohh was that heaven. The miso soup for once didn't taste like the salt shaker had been dumped into it and the ginger chicken and a really nice ginger snap to it. And the presentation with the fruit on the side was a wonderful suprise.
My son and I will be going back to this place every chance we get. You have got to try this place if you are tired of sub-par sushi. I just recently moved from California to Nashville and I was looking for a Japanese restaurant to try.
I am not exaggerating when I say Fujiyama is the best Japanese restaurant in town; the food is fresh, the staff is attentive, and it is worth every penny. Don't let the location fool you, it is the best hidden Japanese secret in Nashville. I dine there at least once a week and Ryan sushi chef always offers new dishes to try.
Thought it was a little pricey, but the experience was worth it for Saturday date night. Great presentation Very clean, more so than other cheaper sushi places, cozy atmosphere. We were hesitant at first to try this new Japanese Restaurant located off Charlotte Pike, but we were so glad that we did!
There is a wide spectrum of choices on the menu, from sushi to hibachi to udon entrees and more. The sushi was incredibly fresh with great presentation and definately in my top 3, although it was a bit pricey, it was worth it.
The atmosphere is friendly and very clean, and the staff were very helpful with recommendations from the menu. We will definately be back! This was our first visit to Fujiyama but we didn't expect it to be so pricey located off of Charlotte Pike.
The server was not attentive to our needs Overall the sushi was good but Nashville has better sushi restaurants with more resonable prices.
