Bob and Sheri weren't my cup of tea but I "got" why they were there. Matt and Ramona I never thought were funny and were just hogging up music time. I wonder what this means for the other stations Cough Q98 in Fayetteville Cough who also run their programming in the mornings?

The station is now rebranding as Mix But they remain a Hot Adult Contemporary format and will not convert to urban programming as previously speculated.

They are reportedly improving the music mix and making talent changes. I guess they figure Matt and Ramona will be more upbeat in the mornings and attract a more diverse audience, as Bob and Sheri are more laid back and appealed primarily to white women.

But hopefully Bob and Sheri will soon find a new radio home in Charlotte, as it is a bit ironic they are still heard on 70 stations nationwide except for their original flagship in Charlotte.

Good news apparently Bob and Sheri will be returning to Charlotte radio on K Glad they will be back in their hometown market after nearly 30 years on But unfortunately But at least they will be back on the air, hopefully satisfying protests and petitions calling for them to return.

I remember Bob and Sheri and listening to them going to school in the morning. I find FM radio hard to listen to anymore, because it is so unimaginative and impersonal. Stations sound like podcasts I miss the days of stations digging a little bit into the backlog, to play some of the hidden tracks off albums.
